A new LCD display type RGB will allow great flexibility of visualization. Interesting feature the possibility to change the color of display background whenever an alarm condition occurs. This will enable the operator to get the information for example from a distance and not only in close proximity to the device.

Pixsys is twenty years old ! We want to celebrate with our customers, offering them the opportunity to share some of their most interesting projects where they have used/integrated Pixsys programmable devices by joining the Pixsys Application Award 2012. The competition is meant essentially as a tribute to the system integrators and developers who put a lot of creativity and efforts in programming and integration of our devices into the most diverse projects for automation and process control. We are glad to share some first information about the upcoming project of a new device 48×96(horizontal) targeting the panel-meters segment and including a dedicated version for load cells control. The device is expected to be very compact in order to reduce mounting space within the control cabinet. We will keep you posted about the project advancement.
Tra i nuovi progetti per il 2012 c’è anche un nuovo indicatore 48×96 (orizzontale) che includerà anche una versione speciale per il controllo delle celle di carico. Questo nuovo strumento sarà estremamente compatto per ridurre l’ingombro all’interno del quadro. Vi terremo aggiornati sull’avanzamento del progetto.

In the early Nineties Pixsys started its business introducing a line of step controllers for the management of firing cycles on kilns/furnaces for glass and ceramics. Twenty years later we supply nowadays most of the major kilns manufactures in Italy , Europe and behind. From plug-in controllers for hobby kilns up to supervisory software on Touch-screen Panel-PC for industrial plants , as a distinctive feature we still offer systems and solutions for the kilns/furnaces market where we rely today on a strong know-how about thermal processes (and specifically high-temperature applications), which is recognized and appreciated also by customers who often involve us in new projects. See for example the recently launched ATR421 featuring a new smart Tune algorithm, specifically conceived for quickly changing processes.
Over the time our products range has gone through a deep evolution: not only step controllers but also universal measuring/control devices and automation systems for different industries…. still we don’t forget how everything started!

Nei primi anni Novanta Pixsys ha iniziato l’attività con una linea di termoregolatori per la gestione di cicli di cottura su forni per la lavorazione di vetro e ceramica A distanza di oltre vent’anni collaboriamo con la maggior parte dei produttori di forni in Italia, in Europa ed oltre: dai regolatori palmari per forni da hobbismo ai sistemi di supervisione su Panel PC Touch-screen per impianti industriali, sistemi e soluzioni per un settore che ci ha visto crescere e maturare negli anni un solido know-how relativo alla gestione di processi termici, riconosciuto e apprezzato dai clienti che spesso ci coinvolgono nello studio di nuovi progetti. Di recente introduzione il programmatore ATR421 e lo studio di un nuovo algoritmo per un Tune dinamico focalizzato su processi che cambiano rapidamente.
Nel tempo abbiamo diversificato la nostra proposta tecnico-commerciale: non solo programmatori ma anche regolatori universali e soluzioni per l’automazione industriale in svariati settori produttivi…. senza però dimenticare da dove abbiamo iniziato!
Portable weighing system, Yas Marina circuit, Abu Dhabi
We are proud to introduce this interesting case-history about Pixsys HMI model TD700. Our customer MED , a system integrator focusing on motorsport solutions, has developed in cooperation with Pixsys a portable weighing system for the organizing commitee of GP2 and GP3 championship for races to be held in Asian and European circuits in concomitance with F1 races. The system, installed in February 2011, is used by federal delegates of FIA to verify minimum weight of cars during test races and competitions and it shows the optimal synergy of Pixsys TD700 with mobile weighing platforms 400kg developed by MED. TD700 with two expansion slots ETD884-AD is monitoring the four signals of load cells in order to provide both total weight of the car and the load on each single wheel. A thermal printer connected to TD700 allows to record the weight, matching it also to car’s number.

Abbiamo il piacere di presentarvi questo interessante esempio applicativo del Terminale Pixsys TD700. Il nostro cliente MED, integratore di sistemi specializzato in soluzioni per il Motorsport, ha sviluppato e fornito a febbraio 2011 in collaborazione con Pixsys un sistema di pesatura mobile per l’organizzatore dei Campionati FIA di Monoposto GP2 e GP3 che si svolgono sia in Asia che in Europa, in concomitanza con le gare di F1. Il sistema è utilizzato dai delegati tecnici della Federazione Internazionale dell’Automobile ( FIA )per la verifica del peso minimo delle vetture durante le prove e la gara e mostra la perfetta sinergia tra il nuovo Terminale TD700 PIXSYS e le piattaforme mobili di pesatura di portata 400 kg , realizzate da MED. Il TD700, nella configurazione con due schede di espansione ETD884-AD, gestisce i quattro segnali delle celle di carico per fornire sia il peso totale della vettura che il peso sulle singole ruote. Inoltre, una stampante termica collegata al TD700 permette l’archiviazione del peso in associazione al numero vettura.

Short and essential, they are conceived to show the main steps required to set up the units before installation. If you have any suggestion or requirement for further tutorials which could be useful for other devices or for specific functions, feel free to give your feed-back. Concisi ed essenziali nella forma, sono stati pensati per spiegare la sequenza di operazioni necessarie per la configurazione iniziale degli strumenti. Suggerimenti o richieste per tutorials da realizzare relativamente ad altri strumenti o a funzioni specifiche sono comunque benvenuti. Hope you had a great start into the new year and like us you are now planning ahead for the coming months. We would like to share with you some brief notes about products development for 2011. Consolidating a trend of recent years, also in 2011 we will definitely focus investments and resources on programmable systems, pushing the new line of Windows CE Terminals TD430-TD570-TD700 along with the brand-new TD750 featuring Windows 7. If stand-alone parametric controllers are still a relevant percentage of turnover, we record an increasing interest and demand for programmable solutions (integrating controllers and electro-mechanical devices like timers, relays…) even from our traditional customers basis. We would like to get your opinion about the trend you notice in your market and your personal evaluation. Specifically, if you are already using programmable devices, share your evaluation about connectivity and programming tools of our devices.
In questo inizio d’anno probabilmente anche Voi state programmando le attività per i mesi a venire e magari state valutando nuove opportunità. Vorremmo condividere alcune considerazioni che sono state alla base delle nostre scelte nello sviluppo di nuovi prodotti. Consolidando il trend degli ultimi anni, anche per il 2011 investimenti e risorse saranno focalizzati prevalentemente sui sistemi programmabili con il lancio dei Terminali Windows CE TD430-TD570-TD700 e del nuovo Panel-PC Windows 7 TD750. Sebbene la strumentazione parametrica (regolatori e programmatori) generi ancora ad oggi una percentuale rilevante del nostro fatturato, registriamo una domanda e un interesse crescenti per soluzioni programmabili e quindi decisamente più flessibili anche da parte di clienti tradizionalmente non orientati su questa tipologia.Ci farebbe piacere conoscere il Vostro punto di vista rispetto alle tendenze che osservate sui vostri mercati di riferimento. Per chi già utilizza i nostri sistemi programmabili (PLC e Terminali operatore Pixsys ) l’invito è ad esprimere una vostra valutazione sui tools di programmazione e la connettività.
